Bus services in Limassol are operated by the company EMEL. The routes are divided into several types: city, rural, student, and circular.

City Routes

These routes operate within the city of Limassol, numbered from 03 to 33, totaling 25 routes. They mainly run through the central part of the city, as well as to areas such as Agios Athanasios, Germasogia, Moutagiaka, Trachoni, Akrotiri, Agios Tychonas, Erimi, and Episkopi.

Rural Routes

Buses on these routes operate to towns and villages around Limassol, such as Omodos, Agros, Agios Ioannis, Pelendri, Troodos, Agios Mamas, Limnati, Korfi, Pissouri, Prastio, Arakapas, Eptagoneia, Pareklisia, Pyrgos, Kalavasos, and others.

Student Routes

Designated with Greek alphabet letters, these routes connect the universities of Cyprus with important student points in the city.

Circular Route

Fare Information for Limassol Buses

Ticket Types

  • Single (daily single ride): valid for one trip within the city and suburbs from 04:00 to 21:00.
  • Night - Single (night single ride): valid for one trip within the city and city suburbs from 21:00 to 04:00.
  • Daily (daily unlimited ticket): valid for one day for trips within the city and city suburbs from 04:00 to 21:00.
  • Weekly: valid for 7 days from 04:00 to 21:00 for trips within the city and suburbs.
  • Monthly: valid for a month for trips within the city and suburbs.

Fare Information

  • Daily single ride: €1.50
  • Night single ride: €2.50
  • Daily unlimited ticket: €5
  • Weekly pass: €20
  • Monthly pass: €40

The daily unlimited ticket is valid until 4 a.m.
