Lapta beaches

Lapta is a popular residential area to the east of Girne. There are equipped beaches at cafes or hotels, consider the main ones.

Sunset Beach Club

Beach club with wooden deck, sunbeds, toilets and cabanas. It is located closest to Girne, but doesn’t work during the off-season.

Eden Beach

A small beach in a bay with several restaurants around the perimeter, they also put sunbeds on the coastline in the high season.

Ammadi Beach Club / Eziç Lapta

Beach near the popular chain cafe Eziç. The cafe itself has nothing to do with the beach, but you can have a great lunch there. On the beach itself there are cafes and the beach club Ammadi. There is also a Driftwood restaurant. They put out sun loungers in season.

Further up to Karsiyaka there is a rocky coast with wild beaches and a hiking trail equipped in the upper part, ending at Sardunya Bay, we wrote about it in the section about the beaches of Karsiyaka
