Tiamat — first concert in Cyprus

Tiamat will perform on 12 November 2026 at OPUS Club in Germasogeia. The doors will open at 19:00, and the concert will begin at 20:00.

Tiamat was founded as a death metal and black metal band and became one of the pioneers of Swedish death metal. Their debut full-length album, Sumerian Cry, was recorded at Sunlight Studio.

Later, the band moved on to gothic/doom metal and then to gothic rock. After a break from music, elements of black metal appeared in Tiamat's music; however, on the album The Scarred People, the band returned to a softer and more atmospheric gothic rock sound. The name Tiamat is associated with an ancient goddess from Mesopotamian mythology, symbolising beauty and creation.
