Basilica of Panagia Limeniotissa
Description
Significant ruins of an early Byzantine basilica from the 5th century, destroyed during the Arab invasion in the mid-7th century. After the Arabs left, a smaller church was built on the site, which was later destroyed by an earthquake in the 12th century; fragments of the mosaic floor and a marble column with Arabic inscriptions have been preserved.
