Description of Denizkızı Beach

Denizkızı Beach is located in a small natural bay on the Mediterranean coast. The shore is covered with sand, and sun loungers and umbrellas are arranged along the beach line. The beach is approximately 100 m long.

The bay is partially protected from strong waves, so the sea here often remains calm. The sandy shore and gently sloping entry into the water are suitable for families with children; however, the depth may vary depending on the section and sea conditions.

The beach belongs to Denizkızı Hotel, but it is not limited to hotel guests. Visitors who are not staying at the hotel can purchase a day pass with access to the main beach infrastructure.

Admission cost

Food, drinks, water activities and diving centre services are paid for separately. The rate may be changed by the beach administration, so you can additionally check the current conditions before your trip.

Best time to visit

The main beach season in Northern Cyprus runs from May until the end of October. In late spring, the sea gradually warms up, while the highest water temperatures are observed in July, August and September.

July and August are suitable for those who prefer hot weather, but air temperatures can be high in the middle of the day. June, September and early October are often chosen for a more peaceful holiday: the sea remains warm, while the daytime heat becomes less intense.

The beach can be crowded on weekends and during the peak summer season. To choose an available sun lounger, it is more convenient to arrive in the morning.
