July 11th Weather Update for Northern Cyprus

According to the TRNC Meteorology Department, on Thursday, July 11, the region is influenced by low pressure and cool, humid air in the upper atmosphere. Forecasters predict cloudy and rainy weather.

Temperatures have returned to seasonal norms. The hottest weather today is expected in Nicosia, Ercan, and Güzelyurt, reaching up to 39°C, while the coolest will be in Lapta, around 32°C. The wind will be southwesterly and moderate in strength. No storms are expected today.

Two weather warnings are in effect for Northern Cyprus. The risk of wildfires remains very high. The ultraviolet (UV) radiation level has decreased to high.

It is advised not to stay in the sun for more than 15 minutes, especially between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, without taking necessary precautions.
