TRNC Prime Minister Üstel promises to present family support projects within 80 days
TRNC Prime Minister and chairman of the National Unity Party (UBP) Ünal Üstel said that over the next 80 days, the government would present projects one after another to make citizens’ lives easier. He named families and their everyday expenses as the priority for the new period.

According to Üstel, the measures are aimed at directly reducing the burden on family budgets: assistance with housing and utility payments, as well as solutions in the fields of education, healthcare and transport.
The prime minister recalled that during his government’s time in office, the minimum wage had increased fivefold, while per capita income had reached an all-time high. With Turkey’s support, the government expects to resolve infrastructure problems within five years.
The statement was made ahead of the general and local elections in the TRNC, which will be held on 6 December.
