A parked bus caught fire in a garage in Çatalköy
A bus parked in the garage of a residential building caught fire in Çatalköy. The fire was extinguished by firefighters.
According to police, the fire broke out yesterday at around 22:50 on Şehit Kamil Dimililer Caddesi. The flames started in a bus with the registration number TAA 477 C, which was inside the garage.
Preliminarily, the fire may have been caused by a short circuit in the electrical system of the engine compartment.
The fire damaged the bus’s electrical components and cables, plastic parts, and engine compartment. The engine cover, front fenders, and headlights were also affected by the high temperature.
The investigation is ongoing.
