Fourth suspect in Ayia Napa attack case detained
President of Northern Cyprus Tufan Erhürman said that the fourth suspect in the case involving the attack on Ahmet Tan, which took place last weekend in Ayia Napa, has been detained in the Republic of Cyprus.
According to Erhürman, information about the detention was conveyed to the General Directorate of Police of Northern Cyprus through the bicommunal technical committee. Thus, all four suspects in the case are now in custody.
It was previously reported that three suspects had been detained, while one more was being sought. It has now been confirmed that all four detainees are Swedish citizens.
