Incident in Çatalköy: Worker Falls 7 Metres and Is in Intensive Care
A workplace accident occurred in Çatalköy. A 29-year-old worker suffered serious injuries after falling from a height of about 7 metres.
According to police, on 31 July, Hamza Tahir was installing a fire protection system on the roof of a building. During the work, he lost his balance and fell onto the concrete surface.
The injured man was taken to Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa. After receiving first aid, he was transferred to the surgical intensive care unit, where he remains under medical supervision.
Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
