Rain and thunderstorms in Northern Cyprus will continue until Tuesday
According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast for 15–21 August, showers and thunderstorms are expected in some areas today, on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday during the daytime. Fog is also possible in some areas on Sunday and Monday morning.
From Wednesday, 19 August, predominantly clear and slightly cloudy weather is expected. The maximum temperature inland will reach 36–39 degrees on the first and last days of the forecast period. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, temperatures will be lower, at 32–35 degrees. Along the coast, temperatures will remain at 31–34 degrees throughout the period.
Winds will be mainly southerly and westerly, moderate and occasionally strong.
