Northern Cyprus Foreign Minister congratulates Azerbaijan on Independence Day and says ties are strengthening

Foreign Minister of Northern Cyprus Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu sent an official congratulatory message to Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In his address, the head of the TRNC’s foreign ministry expressed pride in the achievements and development of the brotherly state.

Ertuğruloğlu particularly stressed that the strategic ties between Turkey, Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus continue to strengthen rapidly on the basis of the principle of one nation, three states. According to him, solidarity and the three countries’ shared historical heritage serve as a solid foundation for further cooperation. The TRNC Foreign Minister wished the Azerbaijani people peace, prosperity and stability, expressing confidence in a successful future for joint regional projects.
