Apartment sale fraud uncovered in İskele
A resident of İskele paid 30,000 US dollars on the promise that an apartment would be sold to him, after which the suspect was arrested.
According to police, in 2024 K.K. (51) told a resident of Geçitköy that he would sell him an apartment in İskele. However, it later emerged that the information about the deal was false.
Police allege that the man obtained 30,000 US dollars from the victim in this way.
After the investigation began, the suspect was identified and arrested on 19 July 2026.
Police continue to investigate the case.
