Kıb-Tek to cut electricity in Lefkoşa, Güzelyurt and Girne districts on September 16 from 10:00 to 14:00

The Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority Kıb-Tek has warned of a four-hour power cut: on September 16 from 10:00 to 14:00, electricity will be unavailable in parts of the settlements in the Lefkoşa, Güzelyurt and Girne districts.

Gürpınar, Yılmazköy, Serhatköy, Şahinler, Mevlevi, Gayretköy, Zümrütköy, Türkeli, Alayköy, Boğazköy, Pınarbaşı, Kömürcü, Yukarı Dikmen, Taşkent, Dikmen and Güngör will be left without power, as will the area around the Metehan border crossing, the area around St Hilarion Castle, the Hediyem Su area, the Cemsa and Oray residential complexes in Dikmen, and the Boğaz post.

The outage will also affect water pumps and pumping stations in these areas. In addition, on the same day from 09:00 to 11:00, Kıb-Tek will cut power to the Agricultural Products Authority (TÜK) branch in Haspolat, where work is being carried out on the medium-voltage line.
