Turkish Cypriot Student Congress to Bring Together Students from Different Countries
A Turkish Cypriot Student Congress, organized by five student associations, will be held in Northern Cyprus on 15 August.
The event will take place at the Parliament of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), jointly organized by the Turkish Cypriot Students Union, the Turkish Cypriot Students Union of America, the Federation of Turkish Cypriot Student Organizations in the United Kingdom, the Federation of Turkish Cypriot Students of the European Union, and student associations in Turkey.
Hundreds of students studying in different countries around the world will take part in the congress. Participants will discuss education, scholarships, student living conditions, culture and identity, the experiences of international students, the return of qualified professionals to their homeland, as well as health and psychological well-being.
The organizers note that one of the event’s main objectives will be to discuss students’ problems and develop proposals for addressing them.
Following the congress, a detailed report will be prepared, which is planned to be published as a book and presented to decision-makers.
The event will begin at 09:00 on 15 August at the Parliament of the TRNC.
