Famagusta mayoral candidate Koral Bozkurt: “I am running not for politics, but to work”

Koral Bozkurt, the candidate of the National Unity Party (UBP) for mayor of Famagusta, spoke about his decision to run and said that he wants to focus not on political statements, but on concrete actions.

Bozkurt noted that he was born and raised in Famagusta, where he gained life experience, worked and learned the value of constructive effort.

According to him, the city played a major role in his achievements, which is why for many years he has sought to support Famagusta not only with words, but also through investment, support for sports and social projects.

At the same time, Bozkurt said that Famagusta has yet to realize its full potential and needs development that will enable the city to meet modern requirements.

He emphasized that Famagusta has great potential thanks to its history, culture, port, university, tourism, entrepreneurs, young people and sporting achievements.

«I know this city because I was born and raised here. Famagusta does not need more promises, but more work. I have come not to engage in politics, but to work. Now, for the future of the city, it is time not to talk, but to act», — Bozkurt said.

He added that his decision to run was not driven by personal ambitions, but by a desire to take responsibility for the city that raised him.

Bozkurt said that his goal is to use Famagusta’s opportunities as effectively as possible and leave future generations a city they will be proud of.
