Lefkoşa Municipality warned of a five-day water outage from September 18 to 22
The Turkish Municipality of Lefkoşa (LTB) announced that from September 18 to 22, the city will not receive water from the reservoir supplying the TRNC capital. The outage will last five days.
According to the municipality, the announcement was made based on information from the TRNC Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources. The water supply is being cut off due to work by the State Hydraulic Works (Devlet Su İşleri): upgrading, maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting will be carried out at the facility.
LTB urged residents to use water sparingly throughout the entire work period to prevent water disruptions in the city.
