Telephone service to be disconnected in four Lefkoşa districts on September 5 and 6
The TRNC Telecommunications Department has warned of temporary disruptions to telephone service in several districts of Lefkoşa, with work scheduled for September 5 and 6.
The disruptions are related to the replacement and modernization of street distribution cabinets in Lefkoşa, as the infrastructure is being transferred to a new system. While the changeover is under way, service in some neighbourhoods will be unavailable for certain periods of time.
The outages will affect parts of the Gelibolu, Bakanlıklar, Kızılbaş and Marmara districts.
The department noted that teams are continuing to work to complete the changeover as quickly as possible and fully restore the service.
