Northern Cyprus Health Minister Holds Meetings in Azerbaijan

Northern Cyprus Health Minister Hakan Dinçyürek is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, where he is taking part in the International Congress on Healthcare Management and holding a series of official meetings.

According to the Ministry of Health, Dinçyürek met with the chair of the Azerbaijan — Northern Cyprus parliamentary friendship group, Javanşir Feyziyev, the chair of the Committee on Labour and Social Policy, Musa Guliyev, as well as MPs Jale Aliyeva, Hikmet Babaoglu and Azer Allahverdiyev.

During the talks, the sides discussed strengthening the fraternal relations between Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan, as well as developing cooperation in the healthcare sector.

Hakan Dinçyürek expressed confidence that the meetings will contribute to the further development of friendly relations and the expansion of cooperation between the two countries.

The delegation also included the Secretary-General of the National Unity Party (UBP) and Chairman of the Cyprus Medical Tourism Council, Ahmet Savaşan. During the visit, the delegation is being accompanied by Northern Cyprus's representative in Baku, Ambassador Ufuk Turganer, and the third secretary of the representation, Görkem Reis.
