Ministry of Agriculture: all local and imported products checked over the week were found to be clean
The Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources of the TRNC has released the results of its weekly food safety monitoring. According to the ministry’s official statement, all tested samples of both local and imported products were found to be completely clean.
During inspections carried out between June 19 and 25, ministry specialists collected and examined in the laboratory 32 samples of imported goods and 23 samples of locally produced goods. The analyses found no dangerous residues of chemical substances or pesticides in any of the checked batches.
