Northern Cyprus young cyclist targets World Championship top 10
18-year-old Northern Cyprus cyclist Ege Eryülkü spoke about his goals for the upcoming international competitions. At the World Championships in Canada, he aims to finish among the top 10–15 athletes in the individual time trial. At the European Championships in Slovenia, his goal is to make the top five.
The Dakar Youth Olympic Games will be Eryülkü’s main competition. He hopes to achieve his best result in the individual time trial. This year, the athlete will also begin studying business at university. He plans to combine his studies with his sporting career and compete in international competitions representing Northern Cyprus.
