Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality removes marine debris from the coastline
The Çatalköy-Esentepe Municipality carried out a cleanup of marine debris along the coastline after receiving a report via the municipal hotline.
According to Mayor Ceyhun Kırok, municipal staff promptly went to the site and cleared the shore of waste that was presumably dumped from a vessel or carried in by the sea current.
Kırok noted that municipal services continue working to protect the coastline not only from pollution originating on land, but also from debris reaching the shore from the sea.
