The fourth Alagadi Fest has kicked off in Alagadi

The fourth Alagadi Fest 2026, organised by the Çatalköy–Esentepe Municipality, has kicked off in Alagadi. The festival’s opening night brought together thousands of residents and visitors to the region.

The festival opened with music, entertainment and performances by artists. The highlight of the first evening was a concert by popular Turkish singer İrem Derici, who performed her well-known songs for thousands of spectators.

At the festival’s opening, Çatalköy–Esentepe Mayor Ceyhun Kırok noted that the event has been held for the fourth consecutive year to promote the region and draw attention to its natural, cultural and tourist attractions.

According to him, the festival grows in scale each year and attracts more and more participants. Alagadi Fest also contributes to the development of the local economy and tourism by creating additional activity for businesses in the region.

Various stalls were set up and entertainment activities took place at the festival grounds.

TRNC President Tufan Erhürman attended the first evening of the festival together with his wife, Nilden Bektaş Erhürman. He visited the stalls, spoke with residents and guests at the event, and posed for photographs with festival participants.

The first evening of Alagadi Fest 2026 concluded with a concert by İrem Derici.
