Drone flights will be temporarily banned in Northern Cyprus
In connection with the events dedicated to Peace and Freedom Day on July 20, the use of drones and the holding of any kind of air sports will be temporarily banned in Northern Cyprus.
As reported by the Directorate of Civil Aviation, the restrictions are related to demonstration and training flights.
The ban will be in effect:
- July 17 — from 10:30 to 13:30;
- from July 18 to 21 — daily from 17:00 to 20:30.
Residents and visitors to the island have been urged to comply with the restrictions introduced on the specified dates and times.
