Serious safety violations captured at a construction site in İskele
Witnesses have published footage from a construction site in İskele, which has once again raised the issue of non-compliance with safety and occupational health standards. The images show builders carrying out work on upper floors without the mandatory personal protective equipment and fall protection systems required for work at height.
The released material sparked sharp criticism from local residents, who described what was happening at the site as irresponsible on the part of the developer. Citizens called on the relevant authorities to promptly intensify inspections at construction sites in order to prevent possible workplace accidents.
