Prime Minister Ünal Üstel congratulates Anadolu Agency on its 106th anniversary
In Northern Cyprus, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel sent a congratulatory message on April 6, 2026, marking the 106th anniversary of the founding of Anadolu Agency.
In his message, Üstel emphasized that the agency was founded by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with the aim of bringing the voice of the Turkish nation to the entire world. He noted the historical continuity of the institution and its contribution to the information space.
The Prime Minister highlighted the agency's commitment to the principles of truth and objectivity, stating that Anadolu Agency has maintained these principles throughout its operations. According to him, the agency is not only an important source of news for Turkey but also the "voice and memory" of Turkish Cypriots.
