TRNC football team thrashes Roé Provence and reaches the CONIFA championship final
The national football team of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) confidently advanced to the final of the CONIFA European Championship. In their second match of the tournament, the Turkish Cypriots thrashed the Roé Provence team 4-0.
The match was played with the complete dominance of the Northern Cyprus team. The confident victory was secured by goals from Ada Osman Esseller, Mert Güçlücan, Olcay Mahmut Aykut and Kenan Oşan.
This victory was the team’s second in the current tournament — in their opening match of the championship, the TRNC team defeated the team from the canton of Ticino 5-1. By collecting the maximum number of points, the Northern Cyprus team secured a place in the final, where it will face Padania in the battle for the championship title.
