Creation of a Packaging Waste Collection System Discussed at the Presidential Complex
Meetings dedicated to the creation of an authorized organization for the management of packaging and packaging waste were held at the Presidential Complex of Northern Cyprus.
The meetings were chaired by Nilden Bektaş Erhürman, wife of President Tufan Erhürman. They were attended by the heads and representatives of the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and the Turkish Cypriot Chamber of Industry.
Presidential adviser on environmental affairs İbrahim Alkan also took part in the meetings.
The parties discussed the work previously carried out to establish the organization provided for by the Regulation on the Management of Packaging and Packaging Waste, and exchanged views on further steps in this direction.
