Three people investigated over fire in Dikmen
An investigation has been launched in Dikmen into three people linked to a fire that broke out due to negligence.
According to police, the fire broke out the previous day in an area near the Cemsa houses. The blaze destroyed around 15 dönüms of dry grass on hilly terrain, 20 hawthorn trees and 5 dönüms of stubble.
The investigation established that employees of a company — I.H. (31), A.M. (22) and M.S. (44) — were carrying out work using a welding machine in a field. According to preliminary findings, they failed to take the necessary safety precautions, causing the dry grass to catch fire.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
