Car set on fire at a car dealership in Lefkoşa
In the early hours of 8 September, two people set fire to a car at the Tol Cars dealership in the Kızılbaş area of Lefkoşa. The incident took place at around 03:38 on Şehit Ertuğrul Arif Street.
According to preliminary information, the perpetrators doused a parked 2022 Nissan Note E-Power Aura with a flammable substance and set it on fire. The car was completely destroyed.
Firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and prevented the fire from spreading to other vehicles. However, due to the high temperature, the left side mirror, plastic elements and paintwork of a neighbouring 2024 Nissan Note E-Power were damaged.
The suspects were detained at Ercan Airport.
