TRNC POLICE DETAIN SEVEN PEOPLE WITHOUT RESIDENCE PERMITS IN 24 HOURS
TRNC police detained seven people living in Northern Cyprus without legal status. Inspections were carried out across the republic on August 24 as part of a campaign to combat illegal residence.
According to the police press service, those detained did not have valid residence permits. All seven were taken into custody, and legal proceedings were initiated against them.
The investigation is ongoing. Police regularly conduct raids across the country to identify people living without residence permits.
