Fuel prices in Northern Cyprus rise by 3 TL: a litre of 95-octane petrol now costs 71.12 TL
Fuel prices in the TRNC have risen by 3 TL per litre. The decision was published in the Official Gazette (Resmi Gazete), and the new prices came into effect today.
A litre of unleaded 95-octane petrol has risen from 68.12 TL to 71.12 TL, while 98-octane petrol has increased from 69.12 TL to 72.12 TL. Eurodiesel has risen from 67 TL to 70 TL per litre.
Kerosene, which is sold in the TRNC under the name gaz yağı, has not increased in price: it still costs 71.43 TL per litre.
The increase was approximately 4.4% for both petrol grades and approximately 4.5% for Eurodiesel. For drivers, this means that filling a 50-litre tank will cost 150 TL more than the day before.
