Turkish banks are raising cash withdrawal limits
Private banks in Turkey are planning to significantly increase cash withdrawal limits due to a large number of customer complaints.
According to information obtained from banking sources, daily limits at some ATMs will be increased up to 5 times.
For example, last week QNB Finansbank raised the daily withdrawal limit from 10,000 Turkish lira to 50,000 at its ATMs.
Then Garanti BBVA also increased the limit to 25,000 Turkish lira for QR code-based withdrawals.
The new rule will apply only to ATMs located inside bank branches and will not affect terminals on the streets, in shopping malls, or at metro stations.
