Wallet stolen from a car in Famagusta, suspect detained
A wallet containing an identity card and bank card was stolen from a parked, unlocked car in Famagusta. According to police, the theft occurred on 24 August at around 04:30 on Gazi Osman Pasha Street.
After the theft, purchases totalling 2,627 Turkish lira were made using the bank card. During the investigation, police identified 30-year-old M.A., who was detained on suspicion of committing the theft.
The investigation is continuing.
