A Car Left with Its Engine Running Was Stolen in Famagusta with 40,000 Lira Inside
A car that had been parked with its engine running was stolen near a shop in Famagusta. The vehicle contained 40,000 Turkish lira in cash. The incident occurred on 19 August at around 15:30. An unidentified person or persons got into the car left near the shop and drove away, taking the money inside.
After the investigation began, the police identified a suspect — 61-year-old Ö.A. He was detained.
The police investigation is continuing.
