A two-hour power outage is scheduled in Famagusta this morning
KIB-TEK announced a planned power outage in Famagusta today from 08:00 to 10:00. The reason will be repair work at the city’s transformer substation.
Dozens of districts and facilities will temporarily be without electricity, including Surchi, Palm Beach, Laguna, Derinya, the Derinya checkpoint, Varosha, the port, court buildings, the tax office, the fire station, schools, hotels, as well as a number of residential neighborhoods, industrial zones and businesses.
Residents and business owners are advised to prepare in advance for the temporary power outage.
