Drunk driver crashes into an establishment’s fence in Kyrenia
In Kyrenia, a driver under the influence of alcohol lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a wooden fence at one of the establishments.
According to police, the accident occurred at around 23:00 on Semih Sancar Street. The 40-year-old driver, Y.T., who was under the influence of alcohol (145 mg), was travelling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle due to inattention.
The vehicle veered off the road and crashed into a wooden fence located on the pavement outside a private property.
No one was injured in the accident. The vehicle and the establishment’s fence were damaged.
Police detained the driver, who caused the accident while under the influence of alcohol. The investigation is continuing.
