Driver fined more than 121,000 lira in Kyrenia for illegal taxi services
In Kyrenia, road police checks revealed the fact of unauthorized passenger transport. The violation was recorded by traffic patrol officers around 21:00 on Karaoğlanoğlu Street.
The attention of the police officers was drawn to a vehicle driven by a driver with the initials L.N.F.A. During the document check, law enforcement officers established that this person was engaged in commercial passenger transport without having official permission from the company to operate the vehicle.
An administrative case was opened against the detained driver under the article on carrying out passenger transport without the appropriate license. The offender was issued a hefty fine of 121,236 Turkish lira, and 50 penalty points were also added to his driving license.
