Suspect arrested in Girne over work permit fraud
Police in Girne have arrested a 46-year-old man suspected of fraud under the pretext of arranging work permits in the TRNC.
According to the investigation, in July 2024 the suspect promised two people living abroad that he would arrange work permits and thereby obtained a total of 4,000 euros from them.
After a complaint was filed, police identified the suspect and arrested him.
The investigation is continuing.
