Man Arrested in İskele for Attempting to Bribe Police Officer to Save His Friend
A 45-year-old man (initials U.O.) has been detained in İskele after he attempted to bribe a police officer to spare his friend from being held accountable for driving under the influence. The incident took place on June 20, 2026, at around 02:00 at the roundabout in the Long Beach area.
While the offense was being processed, the suspect approached the on-duty patrol officer and urged him to let the driver go.
