Iskele Begins Joint Efforts to Address the Stray Dog Problem

The Iskele Municipality and the Union of Producers and Livestock Farmers have decided to work together to address the stray dog problem in the region.

According to a statement by the municipality, as in other districts of the island, the number of stray dogs in the Iskele region has been increasing in recent years. This is having a particularly serious impact on people engaged in livestock farming and is causing significant damage.

Iskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu said that the municipality was ready to work in coordination with the relevant institutions and organizations. He noted that concrete steps would be taken to resolve the problem on the basis of a joint approach and cooperation.

Sadıkoğlu emphasized that the problems faced by livestock farmers in the region would be taken into account and that efforts to find a solution would continue jointly with all stakeholders.
