Lapta Launches the 14th International Tourism Festival

On June 26, 2026, the 14th International Tourism Festival begins in Lapta, organized by the joint municipality of Lapta — Alsancak — Çamlıbel (LAÇ). The major cultural event will last for three days and conclude on Sunday evening. All main festive activities will take place in the coffee district of Lapta (Lapta koruluk/kahveler bölgesi).

Festival program by day:

Friday, June 26 (Day One):
— 19:30 — Official opening of the festival and a ceremonial parade of participants.
— Evening program — Performances by local folk dance ensembles of the Lapta municipality, as well as invited international groups from Bulgaria and Ukraine. A dance group, "Kuzeyin Uşakları", will arrive from Turkey.
— End of the day — A music concert by the trio "Karadeniz".

Saturday, June 27 (Day Two):
— 19:30 — The program begins with creative performances by PENA Art Center.
— Piano segment — A concert by pianists Chloe Clark and Selma Renkli.
— Rhythm section — A performance by the percussion group KAKSAD Sina Darbuka.
— End of the evening — A live concert by Arif Edizer Group Argasti.

Sunday, June 28 (Final Day):
— 20:00 — A performance by the well-known Cypriot rock band "SOS".
— 22:00 — The main closing event: a concert by popular Turkish pop singer İrem Derici.
