Nicosia to host the fifth “Our Hope for the Future” festival
The fifth “Our Hope for the Future” festival, organised by the Centre for Public Artistic Creativity, will begin on Thursday evening with a panel discussion on “Social Struggle” and a ceramics exhibition at the organisation’s building.
The discussion will feature writer Halil Karapashaoglu, environmental activist İlayda Taşkaya, trade unionist Selma Eylem and organisation representative Nalin Dora.
On the second day of the festival, events will take place on İplik Pazarı Street in Nicosia’s Old City. The programme will begin with a musical performance by DJ Hass-E, followed by a theatre production by the Tiyatro Üretim theatre group.
The evening will conclude with concerts by Baria and Üretim.
All festival events will be free of charge.
