Police Academy Holds Blood Donation Drive for Thalassemia Patients

The Police Academy hosted a blood donation event under the slogan "Every Drop of Blood is Hope." The initiative was organized to support thalassemia patients, whose need for donor blood increases significantly during Ramadan.
Administrative staff, as well as police, fire service, and civil service cadets, participated in the drive.

Çiğdem Aşcıeli, responsible for the Thalassemia Blood Donation unit at the Ministry of Health, thanked the police personnel for their participation and noted the vital importance of supporting patients during Ramadan.
Police Academy Director Hüseyin Kadir Çete stated that law enforcement officers are always responsive to social needs, contributing not only through their service but also through social initiatives.
Following the formal proceedings, blood bank staff began the collection process.
The organizers highlighted that the event served as an example of solidarity and social responsibility.
