A new LAÇ wrestling hall was ceremonially opened in the Lapta-Alsancak-Çamlıbel region

On Thursday, June 4, the official opening ceremony of the new modern LAÇ wrestling hall took place. The project was implemented as part of cooperation between the Lapta-Alsançak-Çamlıbel Municipality (LAÇ) and the LAÇ Culture, Arts and Sports Association.

The new training complex will become a permanent base for the association’s boys’ and girls’ youth wrestling teams, which have already managed to prove themselves successfully both domestically and internationally. Today, around 100 young athletes train at the club. The appearance of a specialized hall will make it possible to provide them with professional and safe conditions for daily training.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mayor Fırat Ataser emphasized that investments in the region’s sports infrastructure and support for young people will remain a priority direction in the work of the local authorities. Concluding his speech, the head of the region thanked residents for their support and voiced the project’s main slogan: «Together we are strong».
