House fire in Dağyolu: one person hospitalized

On the night of January 24 at around 02:00, a fire broke out in a residential house in Dağyolu. According to preliminary information, the fire started in the living room—likely due to a spark flying out of the fireplace and landing on a sofa.
The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters who arrived at the scene. As a result, furniture, household appliances, doors and windows were damaged by the fire, and the walls of the house were blackened due to the high temperature.
One of the residents suffered from smoke inhalation and was taken to the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital in Lefkoşa, where they remain under medical supervision.
The investigation continues.
