Attention: Scheduled Power Outages in Kyrenia and Lapta

In the coming days, scheduled power outages will take place in Northern Cyprus due to maintenance work on the electricity transmission lines. Kib-Tek is asking residents of the affected areas to prepare for temporary inconvenience.
On Thursday, June 11, from 09:00 to 13:00, electricity supply will be suspended in central Kyrenia, as well as in the areas around the old harbour and the adjacent shopping streets.
On Friday, June 12, from 09:00 to 14:00, the outage will affect residential neighbourhoods of Lapta, including the coastal zone and part of the foothill areas.
Residents and business owners are asked to disconnect sensitive electrical appliances from the power supply in advance. It should also be taken into account that power may be restored earlier or later than the stated time, depending on the actual progress of the repair work.
