Yamaçköy and Tirmen threatened by forest fire
A fire broke out in the forest area between the villages of Yamaçköy and Tirmen at around 14:45 today. The cause of the fire has not yet been established. Police and fire service personnel, units of the Civil Defence Organization, the Department of Forestry, as well as local residents, are working at the scene. Municipal equipment has also been deployed to fight the fire.
Firefighters and other services continue their efforts to contain the blaze.
