AIDA 2026 World Freediving Championship

The 37th AIDA World Freediving Championship will take place in Limassol from 27 September to 10 October. The international competition will return to Cyprus for the fifth time and bring together the sport’s top athletes, teams, officials and spectators from different countries.

The venue will be Free2dive, AIDA, on 28 October Avenue. The event description calls Limassol one of the world’s leading freediving destinations: clear water, good visibility and a calm, warm sea create ideal conditions for deep-water diving and high-level competitions.

Leading freedivers, including Alexey Molchanov, Petar Klovar and Zsófia Törőcsik, are expected to take part. Spectators will be able to watch elite athletes compete and attempt record-breaking performances against the backdrop of the Cypriot coast. Admission to the championship is free.
