Banana Festival

The village of Kissonerga in the Paphos district is one of the few places in Europe where bananas are grown thanks to the subtropical climate. A gastronomic journey featuring fresh and dried bananas, sweets, juices, liqueurs and cocktails. A fair of traditional treats: palouze, resi and homemade pastries. A walk to the archaeological sites of Mosfilia and Skalia, banana plantations and the ruins of the Church of Saints Zenaida and Philonilla. Local musicians and dance groups, plus a children's area with drawing, games and trampolines.
